Releasing Energetic Cords
Cords are unhealthy energetic connections between you and another person or between you and an issue or situation. They are formed from an unmet need and usually develop into a co-dependency of some kind. They are pretty natural and common actually and often form you are looking to someone outside yourself to solve something inside your own self.
Many people release cords by cutting them. I have never felt right about cutting a cord because I feel if leaves an end of the cord handing where you cut it. Also there isa need which formed the cord in the first place? Here is a new way to meet the old need so the cord won’t come back.
The Cord Releasing Strategy
- Imagine your hands are powerful like a laser and have a deep ability to feel and heal. With your hands and inner vision to scan your body for cords.
- Find where the cord is attached to you and to the other person or issue.
- Imagine your higher self is sitting next to you.
- Ask for the purpose of the cord for you and for the other person or for you with the issue. This can come in a feeling or a single word.
- When you are clear on the above things, imagine pulling the cord from your body, clearing it with white light and gift your end to the other person’s higher self in the same place it used to be in your body. So if the cord was from between your hearts, you would pull your end and offer it to the heart of your friend’s higher self.
- Then remove the other end of the cord from the other person, clear it with white light and place it in your own higher self in the same location it used to connect to the other person, in this case your heart.
- Ask that your core need is met by your higher self.
- Thank the other person and send him or her home. Your higher self will integrate back into your body.
- Ground clear and return to waking consciousness.
