I know that many of us are glad when we feel guided, when our spirit speaks through loud and clear. It can be so subtle at times that sometimes we get frustrated trying to hear our guidance. It requires being really honest and going against the grain of society sometimes. I love supporting you in learning ways to enhance the connection.
1. One primary thing to consider is that your intuition is a body tool. It moves through your senses. The expression “Trust your gut’ speaks to this. Your body feels best when it is healthy and cared for. Your intuition also tends to flow more smoothly when you are feeling healthy and strong. The clearer you are, the better it work.
2. Your intuition is consistent. As you become more and more familiar with your intuition, you will find the it has a pattern or signature. That pattern is unique to you. It moves through your senses of sight, feelings, sounds, tastes, smells. Once you recognize it’s signature and pattern you can catch it more frequently.
3. Self trust is key. Whenever you are calm and clear and centered you have a better change of hearing your intuitive voice. Be as present and as mindful as possible and decide now that you are going to follow it consistently. Enlist your logical mind to notice that your intuitive mind has value and that you want to follow it more.
4. Different types of intuitive hits have different signatures. A nudge to move forward feels very different than a warning. That too will be fairly consistent within your own being. Practice and pay attention to your go forward and warning signs. Learn them and memorize their signatures. That way if you are ever in crisis (God forbid) you already know what each signature feels like. That gives you a better chance of getting and catching a clear signal.
5. If you have a chance to describe your intuition to a friend, do so. Then ask your friend to describe his or her intuition to you. I would love to Hear your report. You might be amazed how different they are and yet how the have certain features and senses in common. Remember each person’s story is correct for them. You and I are unique. Our intuitions are as unique as our thumb prints. Let’s chat about it!
