I have had series of deaths in the last few months and sometimes the grief is very strong. Strong emotions can get in the way of intuitive clarity when they are not handled. </p>
<p>I want to share some techniques I use and find helpful. These tools are right around you and FREE.</p>
<p>1.  Breathe.  Breathing deeply is key.  Breathe right into the challenging emotion. This takes a bit of courage. The emotion may feel strong but you are a giant being of light  breathing into a feeling. The feeling will dissolve and become light and the wave of feeling will pass more quickly.</p>
<p>2.  Water.  Water is fluid like emotion and helps the feelings to flow. Drink plenty of water.  If you are fortunate enough to live near a stream, a river, the ocean or any body of water take regular visits there.  If you can’t get out to  water in nature,  jump in the shower or bath.  Water is a conductor of energy and will wash away the blues.</p>
<p>3.  The Blues.  Music is one of the easiest and fastest ways to lift the spirits.  Sometimes when I’m feeling down, I listen to some deep dark blues and after a good cry,  it leaves me laughing.  Play the blues (or any favorite music) and sing along.  Belt it out, dance, wave your arms and let go.</p>
<p>4.  Nature.  Be it your garden, the park, the flower hanging over the cliff of a waterfall, or the lone dandelion growing through the pavement, nature is full of support and metaphors of strength and healing.</p>
<p>5.  EFT. Emotional Freedom Technique – Lots of free tapping techniques to help clear emotions at www.emofree.com.</p>
<p>6.  Gratitude.  Count your blessings every day.  Think of the many things you have to be grateful for.  It&#8217;s hard to be sad when you are running the vibration of gratitude.</p>
<p>7.  Take Action. Do something for someone who is hurting more than you are.  Be in service in a place your heart calls.  Even one little action in the direction of service, can help you feel better and know that you are not alone.</p>
<p>8.  Call on Your Angels and Inner Peace.  Your angels, guides, nature helpers and Source Love are the ultimate passageway through any challenge. All challenges can take your deeper into your own inner peace.</p>
<p>Most people find these techniques refreshing, effective and easy.</p>

First and foremost, you must quiet your mind.  Sounds simple and easy, and yet during the course of a day, as we get busy, the mind</p>
<p>gets going.  The mind will tell you all kinds of things and direct you in all kinds of directions.  The mind is seldom quiet all by itself.  Learning to quiet the mind is done in meditation practice.  It can also be done by using a mantra.  A mantra is a key word or phrase, often the name of God in any language, which focuses the mind on a single thought.  Focusing on your breath and paying attention to your breathing is another easy way to still your wandering mind.</p>
<p>2.  Remember to be present in your body.  Your intuition is a very body centered phenomena.  Your intuition communicates through pictures, feelings, sounds, tastes, smells and inner knowing.  It uses the inner side of your 5 senses to communicate with you.</p>
<p>3.  When your mind is quiet and you are body centered, you will notice the intuition flowing.  What does it feel like?  It feels like you, yourself, your true self communicating to you.  </p>
<p>4.  How do you recognize it?  By remembering past experiences where you have felt it move you.  Remember times you have followed through.  Then pay attention throughout the day.  Stop and listen.  Stop and feel your body.  Stop moving for a minute or two and close your eyes.  Notice your breath.</p>
<p>5.  If you think you don’t have time to do this, think again.  You can use your bathroom time, your lunch break or any other recess to calm yourself.  If you only have one minute, use one minute.  Time yourself.  See how long it takes to slow down your mind and listen.  I’ll bet you can do in only a minute or two of clock time.  </p>
<p>6.  Use frequency as a tool.  The more often you remember to stop and listen to the quiet whispers in your body and heart, the more you will amp up the volume on your inner voice and be able to hear the calling of your soul.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.sferios.com/intuitivecallings/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/class-full-moon-200.jpg"><img src="http://www.sferios.com/intuitivecallings/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/class-full-moon-200-150x150.jpg" alt="class-full-moon-200" width="150" height="150" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-3512" /></a>While we often call for Master level guidance, angels and nature helpers, your ancestors can be another course of delightful guidance.  They have your best interest at heart.  Even those who seemed to be off kilter when they were alive can become benevolent when they drop the ego and pass through to the other side. They can be another fountain of spiritual support.</p>
<p>Since your ancestors are part of your own family tree, they have a direct understanding of your particular family style and issues.  That gives their standpoint some unique grounding.  Unlike the more starry guides and angels they get what it’s like to be a part of humanity and your own specific genetic line.</p>
<p>If your relationship with your relatives was challenging when they were alive, it takes a certain amount of forgiveness and understanding to be willing and able to work with them. At first, it might seem counter intuitive or puzzling to consider asking them to help you work through some of the same issues they helped you set up in this lifetime.</p>
<p>It is my belief and memory, that we each chose our families and your family members agreed to go through those things with us. I know it can be hard to hear when there is abuse in the story but when you take responsibility for your placement it goes along way toward forgiveness. I know this from personal experience. </p>
<p>Be discerning who you choose to ask for guidance as many relatives have not reached the stage of spiritual mastery. I choose to receive the bulk of my guidance from the masters but when my mom or dad step in with some advice for me, I’m all ears. I know that your ancestors want you do your best. </p>
<p>Start with the relatives that you felt closest to when they were alive. You can talk to them in meditation, in your mind and heart or when writing in your journal. They might slip into your dreams.  It’s a wonderful experience to create an altar for them. You might place items they had when they were alive or their favorite flowers. It is symbolic of the connection.</p>
<p>If you don’t hear your ancestors, that’s ok.  You may be picking up on them subconsciously.  Thank them for their participation in your life.  Just like your angels, they won’t step beyond your free will so be sure to call them in. They will help to answer your questions. </p>
<p>Once you hear from them, check with your own master guides and higher self to see if they agree with your ancestor’s choice of guidance.  I know from experience that they can offer some fabulous guidance.   My mom and I could not relate well when she was alive but since she passed over (25 years ago now) she has become one of my true sources of inspiration and love.</p>

<p><strong>How Does Healing Happen? </strong></p>
<p>Healing happens when our resource state out-weighs the problem state. When our assets are greater than our liabilities and our strengths are bigger than our resources, we have healing.  When things are working smoothly there is no need for us to adjust.  But when your blood is boiling and the situation is just so hard, you need to be able to access your resources. </p>
<p>Inner resources are things like confidence, clarity, spiritual guidance, and intuition.  They are your capabilities, talents, intelligence, memory and understanding.  And they include your qualities of compassion, understanding,  inner strength, will power and love.  They are the things that make your life tick.</p>
<p>Outer resources are things like money, the right medicine, transportation, skilled friends, therapists, computers, appliances, herbs, physical strength, housing and other material things.</p>
<p>We need a combination of inner and outer resources to solve most problems.  We need to discern what resource we need and where to find them and then make a connection to those resources.</p>
<p><strong>What is The Point?</strong></p>
<p>I want you to realize that when you are in need of healing for any situation, the problem state appears to be bigger than the resource state.  When the resource state shifts to become bigger than the problem state, healing and movement happe</p>
<p>To move forward in any situation, you need to increase the right resources.  The most obvious example is money.  When we have plenty of money, we can purchase the things we want and when we don’t, the opposite is certainly. This is true in any area of our life though we may not be conscious of it.</p>
<p>Sometimes that is a matter of a shift in perception, so I wanted to share an amazing technique with you called Anchoring.  You may be familiar with it.  It’s completely free and you can use it to increase inner resources for any situation. </p>

<p>3.  Tell yourself that when you use that word or phrase you will be able to return inside to this place of deep relaxation at will, coming back more easily each time.</p>
<p>4.  Feel the relaxed feeling very deeply again and when you are feeling the relaxation make a small touch anchor by touching your heart.  This creates a touch anchor.</p>
<p>5. Connect your touch and auditory anchors by touching your heart again and saying your key word.  Tell yourself that when you say your key word and touch your heart you will return to this deep place of relaxation even more quickly and easily.  *</p>
<p>6.  Practice going in and out of deep relaxation by using your anchor.  The more your practice the easier it gets.  Go in for a moment by using your anchor and drifting into peace.  Then release your anchor.  Bring your awareness back to waking consciousness and focus quietly on your external environment.  Then drift back inside using your anchor again.   When situations show up where you used to feel anxious, you can now go back to your place of safety and relaxation more easily.</p>

<p>4.  After a bit you will become aware that you are falling.  Put out your left big toe and let it turn to light.</p>
<p>5. After your left big toe turns to light, let your whole body turn to light.</p>
<p>6. You are now falling through time and space in your light body, falling toward the casual plane.</p>
<p>7. Land left foot first on the casual plane. (To me it looks cloud like, to some geometric, whatever you get is right)</p>
<p>8. Hold your manifestation intention for 33 seconds and then release it into the casual plane and let it go. Remember to hold it as if it is already done.  Be 100 percent positive. For example: I am completely healthy, free, now.  All the help I need is now here.  I am 100 percent (whatever) now.</p>
<p>9. Let it go, just release it into the causal plane, like seeds to the wind.</p>
<p>10. Come back to waking consciousness and just go about your day.  It really works best when you do it and let go.</p>
