Hello everyone,
In addition to wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving, I want to offer you a few words of support to help you. This week, there have been a lot of calls from people who are triggered by seeing their family of origin and the coming Holiday season. As sad as that is, it is also an opportunity to grow.The part of anyone who is triggered by family is calling for your attention. He or she needs your love. This is a tremendous opportunity as these clearings create space for the awakening of consciousness.
Imagine the part of you that is hurt being held in your arms. Have him or her turn toward you and be held. Imagine there is a infinite light in your heart and this part of you is connected to that light and absorbing that light. After a minute or so, this part might dissolve right into the light and become one with the good feeling of love. You can also imagine that part of you growing up right now, looking through your adult eyes and seeing life the way you see it. That part needed to catch up and become an adult. This can be very healing.
I hope that your family is immensely loving. And even in a loving family we have some disfunction. For those who have come through less functional families, the triggers can be even bigger. Anytime you feel a person or family member putting you down even a tiny bit, pick yourself up and love yourself. It many help to say Thank you. You can imagine that part is just one second younger or smaller than you now and you are able to hold yourself in your arms of love. If you believe in a higher power or the Universe or God, you can also ask the Universe or your higher power or Divine Mother/Father hold you. Ask your guides and angels to stay close. Stay in the feeling of love as much as you possibly can..
