Article: Intuition, Wreath-Making and Creativity Wreath making Workshop next Sunday Time to Read: 3 minutes. The Creative Process Intuition and creativity are closely connected. Each time we are highly creative, we rev up our intuitive senses. Creativity is the use of imagination or creative ideas to invent something new and that gets our intuitive juices flowing. Staying creative through the holidays is a big boon to thriving. Benefits of Creativity: · Relaxation and stress reduction. When we are relaxed our intuition flows better. · Self-awareness and self-expression. Through being creative and playful, we have an expanded sense of time in the now. You open your channel. Your intuitive nature flows through that same channel. · When we make something, the benefits of creative openness and flow are expressed through the object that you create. It becomes tangible and visible. Creativity has many parts. Two of those parts are conceptualizing an idea and then manifesting the idea. If all we do is conceptualize that is using our imagination and visualizing. Bringing it into form is a tangible expression and teaches us the process of manifestation. What does creativity have to do with moving through the Christmas season? Staying in your creative flow, keeping the doors and window of creativity flowing will help you blossom and thrive during the holidays. It helps us stay attuned and in the flow. As we keep our juices flowing, we thrive. How Does This Weave into Wreath Making? Wreaths are circles and circles represent eternity. When we weave something in a circle we are working with the underlying circle of life, the eternal. Evergreens used represent the ever lasting, that which perseveres. They welcome your guests and loved ones with love. Fir: Represents fortitude and immortality Holly: Represents protection, healing and good luck Pine: Show us to reach for the stars and eternal life. Cones and seeds: Represent new life Flowers: Show us wealth and love Upcoming Workshop -This Sunday, Dec 1. 1-3 p.m. In this intentional workshop, we are going to rev up our creativity, while we connect to your Higher Self and use our intuition to guide us in the process of creative wreath making. This is going to be super Fun! Wreath Making by Firelight and with Intention Come join us! We will start with a meditation to elicit our creativity and intentions. Then we’ll make a gorgeous wreath out of mixed greens with our intentions woven in. Your creativity will be stoked and ready for the season. We will drink great coffee and delicious tea, chat, and make wreaths that will last long after the Holidays have blown through! All materials, and full instruction are provided. Aside from the joy of play and creativity, there is something very soul enriching about sitting in a circle with likeminded people. The home fire will keep us warm and cozy. You will leave the workshop with a beautiful handmade wreath and a full heart. Optional: If you have some special ribbon, pine cones, trinkets, elves, fairies etc. that you want to add to your wreath or donate to the supply box, please bring them.
