Many people are already willing and able to work directly with their Spirit Guides. Many of us do our best to listen to our guides daily and to go in really deeply.

A BAKER’S DOZEN TIPS FOR CONNECTING WITH YOUR SPIRIT GUIDES

Choose a quiet time in a comfortable location, where you won’t be interrupted. Turn your phone ringer off. Consider sitting in nature.
Set adequate time for your experience. Sometimes when we relax and successfully drop in, we want to stay a few more luscious moments.
Get a cup of tea or water and make sure you aren’t real hungry. Hydration is essential. When you aren’t hydrated, it is harder to connect.
Have a pen and notepad handy. Write down your questions and be ready write down even a one word. Trust. It’s best not to use your phone due to distractions.
Ground and clear yourself. Set your intention to connect with your Spirit Guides, Angels and Nature Helpers. I sometimes even do this out loud.
Ask for a connection to your team and open your inner senses. Use all of your senses: Listen, look, feel, smell and taste for feedback.
If you receive some information, thank your guides and let them know you heard them. Your team loves feedback!
Let your skill level determine the complexity of your questions and your expectations. Relax with no pressure to “get something”.
Your Spirit Guides, Angels and Nature Helpers lead you in only positive directions. If you get anything scary or negative, clear yourself again.
Whether you are just beginning, or very skilled, ask simple yes/no questions. You know the feeling of yes and no. This makes it easier to get answers.
If you get a mixed yes and no answer or a maybe, break your question down into two or more simpler questions. Sometimes both yes and no are correct.
Ask one question at a time. If you ask three questions and you hear a yes, you won’t know which question they have answered.
If you are having trouble getting anything, relax, ground and clear yourself again. Frustration blocks the channel. Be grateful for anything you get.
