Kate’s Empowering Angel Story! Honoring Kate!
This is a young picture of Kate O’Rielly, one of my best friends. This picture was taken long before I knew her. Kate passed in December of 2020. This picture reminds me of how she appears some of the times when she comes to visit from the other side.
One of the thing Kate and I had in common was a very strong intuitive sense and experiences with Angels. She was someone with whom I could share my weird intuition with and express myself when Angels were visible or speaking to me or through me. I miss her daily and I am also very grateful to have had her in my life for 20+ years. I am also very grateful to all my friends on this side of the veil, and today honoring all of you who know that the Angels are among us.
I’ve shared this before and want to share it again as one of my favorite Angel stories.
As told by Kate… “The weather was hot and my sleep was difficult. I was awakened abruptly by a phone call. My daughter told me that my grandson was in intensive care. I threw on my clothes and raced to the hospital. When I arrived at ICU, I found my beloved 10-year- old grandson, Cody, going in and out of a diabetic coma. With blood sugar levels of 700, all of his internal organs were working to keep him alive.
My first reaction was to break down in tears. I took a moment before entering his room. During my prayers for strength, a white light appeared on the wall across from me. I was fascinated by this light and at the same time I heard a voice saying, ‘You can be strong for the family. It is the gift that you can give to them.’ The voice sounded Angelic. I knew it was most likely an Angel speaking.
I went into Cody’s room where I found him unconscious, with nurses surrounding him doing what they needed to do to keep him alive. His mom, my daughter, fell apart in my arms. I knew my job was to assist the people who were helping my grandson. I held Cody’s hand while telling him to be strong. I guided my daughter to take a position opposite me at his side. She also held his hand and spoke of her love for him.
Family members came and went for the first 24 hours while we waited. With each new visitor I would listen with my intuition and hear the bright light Angel’s voice, repeat the words to me, ‘You can be strong for the family. It is the gift that you can give to them.’ As the hours advanced I heard the voice say to me, ‘Call others to help you in this task. They will be strong for you.’
I obeyed the Angel’s voice and made twenty-five phone calls. Each person heard my need and said they would help. We created a prayer chain and turned our distress over to a Higher Source.
Within a few days, Cody was out of danger. His first words were, ‘What was the bright light that kept shining on me while I was so sick?’ As reports came back many people who were praying for him remarked that they had seen a bright white light during their prayers. Was this the same angelic bright light? Were we seeing the same Angel? I think so.” Kate O’Rielly
